Podkarpackie Centrum Produkcyjno – Wdrożeniowe” EKO-KARPATY”

is a unique on a national scale, multi-industry research and production enterprise dealing with comprehensive development and implementation of new technologies and products.

During 30 years of activity, continuous investments, research and implementation projects, „EKO-KARPATY” Group has grown into an innovative, multi-plant enterprise operating dynamically in many industrial fields. The most important include the agricultural, automotive, furniture, medical, filtration, footwear and construction sectors.

The MOST IMPORTANT PERSON

The founder of the EKO-KARPATY Group is Ph.D. Eng. Jan Pąprowicz

scientist, researcher and academic teacher. For over 30 years, he has gained scientific and research experience in the field of environmental protection while working at the Silesian, Białystok and Rzeszów Universities of Technology.

In 1991, he founded the research and implementation center ENVIRO Sp. z o. o, using his extensive scientific achievements, including ideas and discoveries in the field of solving problems related to chemical pollution, odors, exhaust gases, dust and bacteria.

The next stage of development was the establishment of the Podkarpackie Production and Imprementation Center EKO-KARPATY in Tarnowiec in 1993 and, in 2000, the purchase of the Technical Textile Production Plant “Technitex” located in Głogów Małopolski.

The EKO-KARPATY Group is an important manufacturer and supplier in Poland and abroad.

The company systematically modernizes its machinery and production processes and expands its product range. The company’s constant development allows it to keep up with market needs and flexibly respond to customer needs. The company has an ISO:9001 quality management certificate, the necessary approvals and certificates for products, including the National Institute of Hygiene certificate and patents for the technologies used. Many years of production experience and numerous awards and distinctions guarantee high quality of products and services offered.

Production plant in Tarnowiec

Podkarpackie Centrum Produkcyjno – Wdrożeniowe EKO-KARPATY was established in 1993 in Tarnowiec near Jasło. At the beginning of its activity, the company produced felts, filter and footwear nonwoven fabrics, as well as filters for the first assembly of Zelmer vacuum cleaners. In the following years of its activity, the company expanded its portfolio of needle punched nonwoven fabrics and the range of filters for household appliances.In the next stage of the investment, the company launched the production of SPUNBOND polypropylene nonwovens used in horticulture and agriculture, furniture, medicine and hygiene, construction, filtration and the automotive industry.

HISTORY OF THE COMPANY

Production plant in Głogów Małopolski

The origins of the production plant in Głogów Małopolski date back to 1917, when the Flax and Hemp Spinning Mill was established.In the 1970s, the company changed its name to Technitex – Plant of Technical Textile Products. In 2000, the plant was privatized and currently operates within the Podkarpackie Centrum Produkcyjno – Wdrożeniowe “EKO-KARPATY”. The plant has maintained the traditional production of yarns and technical fabrics, and the company’s production profile is systematically expanded with new products. The most important of them are the automotive filters launched in 2008 under its own brand BJP FILTER, as well as filters for industrial vacuum cleaners and thermobond nonwoven fabrics. In 2020, the production of HVAC filters for ventilation and air conditioning units was launched.

For its research and development activities, EKO-KARPATY received 2 awards from the Minister of Science and over 30 other awards and distinctions obtained at the level of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship and on a national scale.

During the pandemic, "EKO-KARPATY" supported:

Hospital in Łańcut, through multiple free deliveries of medical nonwoven fabric. This nonwoven fabric was used to make protective clothing in the form of aprons for medical staff and disposable bedding for hospitalized patients.

Independent Public Health Care Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration in Rzeszów through free delivery of medical nonwoven fabric, which was used to sew personal protective equipment for hospital staff.

Social Welfare Home in Wysocko through the free deliveries of an oxygen concentrator, pulse oximeters and material for sewing disposable personal protective equipment to protect employees during the coronavirus pandemic. Disposable aprons and masks for medical staff and patients were made from the obtained nonwoven fabric.

Social Welfare Home in Folusz by supplying material for sewing disposable aprons and masks.

On the occasion of Christmas, we financially support the Association for Assistance to Disabled Persons from Głogów Małopolski, which organizes Christmas gifts and a Christmas meeting for people under its care.B90

We delivered nonwoven fabric to Ukraine for masking and protection.
